About the Colorado Carpenter's JATC

Colorado's heritage of strength and tradition of quality within the Carpenter's union dates back to the late 1800s. Now, with Colorado being a part of the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, there has been great progress made to further improve the training for the members living in Colorado. A major overhaul has been completed to the Denver Training Center in order to fully utilize the 46,000 square feet of space used for training Apprentices and Journeymen.

The training offered at all the Colorado training centers consists of certification and qualification classes such as Scaffold Erector, Rigging, OSHA 10 & 30, First Aid & CPR, Fall Protection and many more. There are also many skill-enhancing classes available pertaining to Metal Framing, Drywall Application, Acoustical Ceilings, Doors and Door Hardware, Printreading, Concrete Formwork and Layout. A large amount of our training is dedicated to the Millwrights as well. The offered Millwright training covers many areas including Machinery Alignment, Hytorc, Flowserve, Pumps & Hydraulic Systems, Turbine Maintenance & Familiarization and Structural Welding.
