The training center here in Las Vegas has been growing at a steady pace. We are continuing to train members, both Journeyman and Apprentices. I know when work is good, members tend to let training slide by the way side. Safety is a big issue for us as members. When we get busy on the job, it’s easy to forget about safety. Everyone seems to have their mind on the job and if we are not careful, safety can fall by the wayside and someone can and will be injured. It’s also important to remember not to let Qualifications expire. If they expire, then you need to retake the complete class. In most cases, a refresher is available as long as your card is not expired.

We have added some Equipment training to some of our existing training. We purchased a Rough terrain fork lift, and a Articulated boom lift. With these purchases, this will allow us to train more readily than we could in the past. It is our intent to have the safest, skilled, and most productive work force available to our Contractors, and we are succeeding!
